New Bicycles For Sale
BikeWorks is committed to offering affordable and reliable bikes to meet the varied needs of the Portland bike world.
Since 2005 we have been a proud dealer of Jamis bicycle (www.jamisbikes.com) Not only are Jamis bikes incredibly priced for the amount of bike that you get, it's the only bicycle manufacturer that is owned by a woman!
As of the 2010 season we are one of three shops in the state of Oregon carrying the ever so attractive Linus bicycles (www.linusbikes.com) They are a relatively new manufacturer that is taking back the beauty of the classic 1930's bicycle and making it comfortable, serviceable, and affordable.
The models of Jamis and Linus bikes we carry are:
Jamis Satellite Sport

This bike rides like a dream. It’s almost too good to be true. Seriously. The men’s version comes in black and white with a classy natural cork handlebar tape. The women’s comes in Celery and White. Beatnik

Jamis overhauled their single speed for the new decade and made it quite a show stopper. With red anodized hubs, headset cap, and bar plugs set with white bar tape, saddle, and tires, sets off this classic black and white frameset. But the raddest thing about this bike isn’t that it’s so flashy, it’s that it still has clearance for full coverage fenders and eyelets so that you can attach a rack if you want. Function meets fashion via a single speed. Sizing: 47, 50, 53, 55, 57, 59, 62
The Commuter 1.0

In 2008 and 2009 this was our biggest seller by far. It is a very straight forward, functional bike that is designed to get you around town in comfort. The 2010 has been redesigned to make it even more straight forward and user friendly. The classic comfort bike now has an internal three speed that allows you to change gears without the worry of a derailleur. The gearing options are varied enough that you’ll get over hills no problem, even with groceries or school books. And it even comes with full coverage fenders!
The men’s version comes in Pewter/Stainless or Blue/Stainless color schemes and is available in 15, 17, 19, 21” sizes. The women’s comes in White/Stainless and is available in 14 and 18.”
